One of the best and most peaceful suburbs in the United States of America, Haworth is a small borough and a part of Bergen County in New Jersey state. Currently, home to more than 3,500 people, Haworth is situated on the banks of Oradell Reservoir.

The borough of Haworth spans over 2.34 square miles and shares its borders with other municipalities of Bergen County, like Emerson, Demarest, Oradell, Dumont and Closter. The borough was formed under an act of the New Jersey Legislature in 1904. It was founded by including the portions of Dumont and Harrington Township. Due to its geographic similarity with the British village of Haworth, the borough got its name, Haworth.

Due to its chilled-out lifestyle, Haworth is preferred by either distant working professionals or people who have retired from their working lifestyles. There are several small-sized New Jersey homes across the quaint lanes of Haworth, where there is not much hustle and bustle. While there are not many places of interest to visit, Haworth has two prominent recreational clubs – White Beeches Country Club and Haworth Country Club, with both of them getting tennis courts and golf courses. One of the biggest New Jersey houses present in the borough, Garret Zabriskie House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
